Classes 5 & 6 enjoyed an informative workshop from South West Heritage Trust learning about what life was like in the UK at the time of World War 2. They had the opportunity to learn about how food was rationed and what types of food were available. They also learnt about how children were evacuated from cities to the countryside to escape bombings, leaving their homes and loved ones behind. Class 6 took some time to compose letters as if they were writing to their parents as evacuees.
