About Us

Our children are at the heart of our curriculum and we take their interests and experiences into account when planning each session. By doing this, we are able to support them in making the next steps in their learning.

Milverton Pre-School's friendly and caring staff are experienced and highly qualified. We have an onsite lead practitioner, Charlotte Pringle-Kosikowsky, as well as an Early Years Co-Ordintator and SENCo, Kate Lewis, based at the school.

The best way to find out more about what we do is to arrange a visit. Please contact us on 01823 400243 or email milvertonpreschool@educ.somerset.gov.uk

In accordance with national guidlines, we actively promote healthy eating and provide a nutritionally balanced snack in the morning and afternoon. You can provide your child with a packed lunch, or order a cooked meal that is provided by the local secondary school, Kingsmead School in Wiveliscombe. Children eat their lunch in the main school hall with the Reception Class children.

Our outside space has recently been refurbished and includes new climbing equipment, story chair and lots more.

Milverton Primary School has wonderful grounds and we actively support outdoor play and use the natural surroundings to promote learning about our environment.

Currently our opening hours are from 9am to 3pm, but from September 2018 we are extending these hours to 8am to 4.30pm.
