With the help of our resident nature expert Miss Davy, class 1 got to explore the art of hapa-zome (which translates to "leaf dye") where they used leaves, flower and berries to experiment printing on fabric.
Miss Davy taught them about laying natural objects on some fabric, folding the fabric over the top and bashing it with a stone.
The children were very excited when they saw the different colours from the leaves, berries and flowers print into the fabric.
