On the Friday before half term, the children took part in a school games day. It was a day full of outside activities where the children competed in their house teams to earn points throughout the day. I saw some great climbing on the climbing wall, some fantastic skipping, some Robin Hoods in archery, and lots of legs moving on the Golden Mile! I saw some wellies flying, children speeding passed in sprint races, rounders in full swing, rollerball and coconut shy with the younger ones and much more! Our excellent sport leaders did a great job at leading some of the activities. The children showed good skills throughout and great team spirit and perseverance. The overall house results were: 4th Place—Cork Oak, 3rd Place—London Plane.

Joint 1st Place—Horse chestnut and Blue Cedar!
