Class 4 walked around Milverton on a history walk. We stopped at Butts Way and looked at the old school. Next, we found the old fire station. We went to the churchyard and looked at the church building and learned about the history of it. It was built in the 13th century! At North Street, we saw the house where the polymath Thomas Young lived as there is a plaque on the wall. North Street has a raised pavement so that the people who lived there didn’t get muddy. Finally, we saw the Victoria Rooms which was made in 1887 for Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. by Rufus, Jesse and Isla
