Shouts of 'cheers to the old apple tree' rang out over Milverton as Class R learnt about the ancient Somerset tradition of wassailing. Unfortunately, Mr Wedderkopp had lost his ingredients to make the wassail in the woods, so we had to go on a hunt before we could make it. Once we found them, we worked together to make it and used it to say cheers to the apple trees!    Mrs Smith
