On Wednesday 21st September, Classes 5 and 6 took part in a Victorian workshop. To start off with, Sharon (the lady running the workshop), came in dressed up as a scholar in the Victorian era. The boys wore waistcoats while the girls wore bonnets and aprons. We took part in Victorian school duties including: a hand check for clean hands and we completed our writing and arithmetic on slates. Lastly, we were split into groups and did Victorian based activities. We all had a really fun morning. We are very pleased we have Mr Penny and Mr Coupe teaching us; Sharon the Victorian teacher was rather scary!
