You may remember that earlier in the year, the MSA were planning a  Colour Run Sponsored Event following the success of last year’s Milverton Mudder.

The event was unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation, but we’re pleased to say that the event is back on! We plan to run the event next Thursday 22nd October to mark the last day of this half term with some brightness and fun for the children.  The event will take place during the school day and the children from each bubble will take part in a fun run around the school field. They can run, jog, walk or skip and will pass through the ‘Colour Station’ up to five times, collecting different coloured markers on their T shirts . We will be using powdered paint which is 100% safe and non-toxic. The product being used is skin, plant, animal and environmentally friendly and will only be used to make small marks or hand prints on the children’s clothing. The manufacturer of the  product have advised that the powder is washable but can’t 100% eliminate the possibility of clothing being left with a  colour trace. For that reason, we are asking children to come to school with an old, over-sized T-Shirt that they can put on over their school uniform.  In order to best demonstrate the colourful nature of the event, we recommend that children wear a plain white t-shirt but if your child does not have a white T-shirt, any plain coloured top will be fine. We’re hopeful that parents, friends and family can support the event by sponsoring their child and can use the half term break to gather sponsorship. All of the money raised goes towards projects at school and we value any sponsorship contribution, however large or small.  We will collect the sponsor money on Monday 2nd – Wednesday 4th November. There will be buckets located at each of the school entrance gates for you to drop off any sponsorship money. Thank you for your support of this event.
