On Tuesday, Parkfield School Girls’ Football Team came to Milverton to play us. It was a 30 minute match. The match started pretty evenly until Milverton took the lead 1-0 by a goal from Izzy. At half time, Teddy and Milo (our cheerleaders) rocked up with a huge tub of oranges which the girls demolished in a millisecond! After half time, Izzy scored a cracker of a goal making it 2-0. Elsa pushed forward scoring 2 more goals, bringing us to 4-0. Then Izzy worked her magic and made a hat trick scoring the 5th goal. Finally, Eleanor scored making the final result 6-0! Player of the match went to Izzy. Thank you to Miss Storey for organising this match and thank you to all our supporters who came along to cheer us from the pitch side.        by Lena, Elsa and Teddy

Lena played really well in goal and kept a clean sheet. Isabelle scored a hat-trick, just ahead of Elsa who scored 2. Also getting on the score sheet was

Eleanor. Merryn went close and hit the post.  Jessica and Isla showed great discipline in defence, staying back and clearing any danger. Lettie, Rose and Harriet showed great passing skills and terrific marking of the opposition players. Overall, all the girls showed great determination and teamwork.         Miss Storey
