The Governors and staff at Milverton School are celebrating after receiving a glowing report from their recent Ofsted inspection. The inspector found that the school continues to be 'Good'. The report was overwhelmingly positive and the inspector noted that the leadership team is strong and “passionate about their pupils and know them extremely well” and that “staff are ambitious in their desire for children to achieve the best possible outcomes”. The report also states “the pupils enjoy being at school and demonstrate exemplary behaviour. They feel very safe and have excellent relationships with staff and each other”. The pupils stated “It is a fantastic school where we learn new things every day”.  The inspector praised the Governors who showed that they were clear about the strategic direction of the school and offer appropriate and purposeful challenge to the leadership. Mr Stead said “the report offers an accurate picture of the school and I am delighted that the hard work and unity of our school community, on behalf of our children, has been recognised. We can all feel rightly proud of our school!”
