10 February 2017

On Friday 3rd February, the whole school took part in a very exciting Science Day as part of this term's Quest toppic 'Whizz, Pop, Bang!'. The children spent the day doing various experiments including 'clucking' cups, making bubbles, racing boats made from foil, making straw oboes and spinners! It was a fantastic day full of learning. Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm, hard work and great behaviour.                                                                                                                                                                                      Mrs Calnon

Key Stage 1 had a fantastic day taking part in whizzing, popping and banging Science Day! The children rotated around different classes and took part in 3 different science experiments which were led by trainee teachers fron SCITT. The day started with a bang as a controlled chemical reaction caused an explosion during assembly! it was a great day with some wonderul learning. The children in KS1 would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Calnon for helping to organise this day with the SCITT students.                                  Mrs Nicholls.
