18 March 2016

This week the school had an Eco day about Earth Hour. Earth Hour is an annual global celebration where people switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about the future of the planet. Eartth Hours this year takes place on Saturday 19th March from 8.30pm-9.30pm. To take part all you need to do is switch off your lights for one hour and sign up at www.earthhour.wwf.org.uk. It's a symbolic and spectacular lights out display with a big message that we want to protect the future of our planet!

On eco day the children did lots of activities from making lanterns from glass jars, made recycled coasters, did paintings of the earth. The children explored the school grounds looking for bugs and insects and looking for signs of spring.
